The Washington Redskins not only signed CB DeAngelo Hall to a six-year, $54 million deal with $22.5 million guaranteed, but they are working on trying to sign free-agent DT Albert Haynesworth and negotiating to bring back G Derrick Dockery, who was released by the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.
A source familiar with the Redskins’ plans said Haynesworth definitely is being pursued and that Dockery, who signed a seven-year, $49 million free-agent deal with Buffalo in 2007, could return to Washington, where he started for four seasons.
Haynesworth is the most coveted free agent on the market and also is believed to be pursued by the Tennessee Titans, with whom he has spent seven seasons, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
