The Bears made a move to strengthen their offensive line by signing former Panthers offensive lineman Frank Omiyale to a four-year contract according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The deal is reported to be worth between $11.5 million and $14 million.
This move allows the Bears to look at different needs with the No. 18 overall selection in the 2009 NFL Draft. NFL.com’s Senior Writer Steve Wyche has the Bears taking defensive end Tyson Jackson with the pick in his first mock-draft.
