Jets release guard Moore

In an expected move, the Jets released guard Brandon Moore on Thursday, according to his agent, Hadley Engelhard.

Moore, who was due a $7 million roster bonus, could not come to terms on a contract restructuring and is now a free agent. Moore, a six-year veteran, started every game the past four seasons and he could be one of the more attractive options at guard in free agency.
