Cowboys tender four players

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the Cowboys have tendered four players — wide receiver Miles Austin, defensive end Stephen Bowen, wide receiver Sam Hurd and offensive lineman Cory Procter. The players will earn $1.545 million this season, and teams would surrender second-round picks to sign any of the players, meaning that the four likely will be in Dallas next season.

Tight end Tony Curtis will be a free agent. The Cowboys have a number of free agents, including defensive end Chris Canty, who figures to get a lot of attention, according to Adam Schefter.

The Cowboys have around $10 million in salary-cap room.
