Chargers, LT don’t have a deal

The Chargers are looking to renegotiate the contract for RB LaDainian Tomlinson, but did not reach a deal when the two sides met on Sunday, according to the North County Times.

Tomlinson will earn $6.7 million this season, and will count $8.8 million against the 2009 salary cap. The Chargers also recently put the franchise tag on do-everything RB Darren Sproles, but aren’t expected to use him as an every-down back even if the team releases Tomlinson.
