The Ravens have some of the most attractive potential free agents, with LBs Ray Lewis and Bart Scott along with C Jason Brown. But agent Harold Lewis, who represents Scott and Brown, told the Baltimore Sun that one of his clients will likely re-sign with the Ravens before free agency starts.
- “My gut feeling is one of the two is going to hit free agency and the other one will probably sign,” Lewis said. “That’s just my gut. … I don’t know which one it is.”
The paper also speculated on the return of some of the Ravens’ free agents in Tuesday’s paper, figuring that the team has a better than 50 percent chance to sign Scott or Brown. The Miami Herald is speculating that Brown could be an attractive option for the Dolphins.
Lewis remains the big prize, but his status took a bit of a hit when Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that his team could be quiet in free agency.
