Crabtree makes statement about injury

Texas Tech WR Michael Crabtree made a brief statement regarding his foot injury. It is a stress fracture in his left foot.
“It’s an old injury I’ve been having,” Crabtree said. “I’ve never had any pain in it. I will run my 40, and after I do that, I will have surgery. I’m looking forward to going to the next level.”
Crabtree revealed earlier this week that he would not participate in drills at the combine and is expected to run the 40 at a later date.
The speculation surrounding Crabtree has all the media members on alert, and a mad rush of reporters flocked to the podim to hear his statement.
