Agent: Warner will play next season

The agent for quarterback Kurt Warner told the Chicago Sun-Times that his client has decided that he will play in the NFL next season. Warner had said that he was going to take some time after the season to contemplate his return to the NFL. Maybe this explains Anquan Boldin‘s sudden reversal and desire to remain in Arizona. Now the question becomes where does Warner want to play? Warner’s first choice would be to remain in Arizona, but will keep an open mind.

“We’re not going to fool anybody,” agent Mark Bartelstein said. “He’d like to stay in Arizona. That would be his first choice. But he owes it to himself and his family to have an open mind. If we can get a deal done with the Cardinals, great. If not, then obviously you’ve got to look at free agency.”

One potential destination could be Kansas City where former Cardinals offensive coordinator Todd Haley is the Chiefs new coach.
