Move over Mannings. Another set of brothers is establishing a legacy in professional sports.
Ramon Foster is bidding to become the fourth sibling to make a living by playing pro sports.
His brother, Renardo, is a guard with the Atlanta Falcons, and his half-brother, Rodney Carney, is a forward for the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves. Another half-brother, Ron Slay, currently plays professional basketball in Italy.
Foster said the brothers support each other in their careers and that they helped “show me how to deal with (preparing for the combine).” Foster then added that he eventually wants to become the first “$10 million man” of the bunch.
Though Foster isn’t considered one of the top offensive line prospects in this class (see Mike Mayock’s rankings), he certainly has experience with one aspect of NFL life — constant change.
His head coach at Tennessee, Philip Fulmer, was forced out midway through Foster’s senior season, and he also said he went through three offensive coordinators and two offensive line coaches during his college career.
