The Rock Hill (S.C.) Herald reports that Panthers OT Jordan Gross has signed a six-year deal to remain with the team. Gross was happy to finish the deal, which reportedly will pay him $30.5 million through the first three years.
- “We’re done,” he told the paper. “I signed it about 10 minutes ago, and I’m glad to be through with it.”
Gross’ signing could open the door for the Panthers to use their franchise tag on embattled DE Julius Peppers.
