Stafford to take part in running drills at combine

Highly touted QB Matthew Stafford told NFL.com’s Gil Brandt on Wednesday that he will take part in the running drills at the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine.

The University of Georgia product, who many believe will be the top pick in April’s draft, went No. 1 in Steve Wyche‘s first mock draft on NFL.com.
