T.O. stumping for Lewis in Dallas

The Cowboys are considering releasing receiver Terrell Owens. But that doesn’t mean that Owens isn’t trying to improve the Cowboys while he is still with the team. The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Owens has reached out to Ray Lewis and Jerry Jones, trying to get the veteran linebacker to come to Dallas. Even Deion Sanders reportedly has put in a good word for Lewis.

But do they really need to? The Cowboys owner has long to put stars on the team to match the stars on the helmet. Lewis is one of the biggest potential stars in this year’s free agent class.
