Extra NCAA eligibility means three out for combine

Three players who were granted a sixth year of college eligibility by the NCAA have declined invitations to the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine and will be returning to school next season.

LSU DT Charles Alexander, USC DB Josh Pinkard and Texas WR Jordan Shipley won’t be among the more than 300 players taking part in the four-day combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
