Steelers WR Hines Ward (knee) participated in practice Friday for the second straight day. He is listed as probable on the injury report for Super Bowl XLIII, though coach Mike Tomlin has insisted Ward will play.
Ward returned to practice Thursday for the first time in 11 days after suffering an injury in the AFC Championship Game against Baltimore. Ward was the only Pittsburgh player listed on the injury report.
For the Cardinals, DE Antonio Smith (knee) had full participation in practice after limited duty throughout the week. He is listed as probable for the Super Bowl.
Three Cardinals players were limited in practice, as they have been all week: RB J.J. Arrington (knee), P Ben Graham (left groin) and DE Travis LaBoy (biceps). The trio is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
