Super Bowl blogging under pressure

It’s Friday of Super Bowl week. Radio Row is packed, the Tampa skies are back to being blue and the game is just two days away.

Things are good.

For all of you blog readers (there should be a specific term for this) who skirt work duties to see what’s going on in Tampa, I sympathize. I’m blogging in front of my bosses’ boss — well, at least someone way, way up the ladder — and it’s a tricky situation under her watchful eye. It must be just like trying to read this blog under your bosses’ eye. So, what I’m saying here is, we’re in the same boat. On both ends of this blog. I’m blogging under pressure.

Said boss came to “see the magic happen” and, quite frankly, was disappointed.

“Hold out,” I said.

If you stay on Radio Row long enough, something will happen.

  • Early reports are that Snoop Dogg is in the building. It’s now officially Super Bowl week. I want to see a Scott Hanson and Snoop Dogg interview. I want it now. I’ve seen Snoop six times in concert, although one was an accident. True story.
  • This should have been blogged about a couple of days ago, I guess, but Kyle Brandt from Real World: Chicago works in some capacity for FOX Radio and/or The Jim Rome Show.
  • Former Bills QB Jim Kelly is on The Row. Brandon Marshall of the Broncos was here, but has exited. Justin Tuck of the New York Giants is here, sporting 3-D glasses on his dome, and his small gaggle.
