Parcells: I’m not going anywhere

Forget about Bill Parcells leaving Miami. Ignore the speculation that he will exercise the opt-out clause in his contract.

Parcells said Friday it’s not happening.

In a lengthy interview with NFL Network that will run on Sunday’s pregame show, Parcells said he fully intended to remain with the Dolphins. He has a clause in his contract that allows him to opt out if the ownership of the Dolphins changes, as it did earlier this month. Asked in the NFL Network interview about his opt-out clause, Parcells said, “I’m not going anywhere.”

Unless he’s fibbing fabulously, Parcells will be back in Miami.
