With a little down time on the NFL Network set, Deion Sanders had a chance to stop by the desk for a little visit. We thought maybe he wanted to get in on our marathon chat session from Radio Row. Instead, he wanted one of our laptops to show off some video clips of his kids playing high school football. It may just have been the highlight of our day… and this in a day in which we got to see Faith Hill up close.
“Prime” hires a cameramen to record each of his kids’ games, then put together a little composition of all the best footage.
Deion sat down for a good 15 minutes, watching Deion Sanders Jr. and his other son, Buckey, flash some serious skills on the football field. Both are quarterbacks for their respective schools, but most of what we saw was them just taking off and running for touchdown after touchdown.
“That’s every game” said the proud papa, who noted that he had never seen Buckey’s team lose a single game before he transferred to another school.
From what we saw, both take after their father. Buckey even played a little CB, taking one interception all the way to the house, just like his dad used to do.
