Still nursing a sprained right knee, Steelers WR Hines Ward sat out Wednesday’s Super Bowl practice in Tampa, Fla.
Ward’s absence from practice was expected. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Monday that Ward would sit out practice Wednesday, and the receiver hoped to be back Thursday for the team’s final, full-scale workout.
Ward has said he won’t miss Sunday’s game.
For the Cardinals, RB J.J. Arrington (knee), P Ben Graham (left groin), DE Travis LaBoy (biceps) and DE Antonio Smith (knee) were limited in practice.
