After sitting next to NFL Network’s Scott Hanson for a few minutes, it occurred to me that our Super Bowl blog should be preceded with this disclaimer: Not everything we blog about will be about football, or the Super Bowl for that matter — you’re going to find some randomness. It’s radio row, rolling with Hanson. It’s just the way it works.

By the end of the day, you may know all about Hanson’s hair products. You may — most likely — know what we had for dessert after lunch. You may know all about how the sunburn on half my face from Media Day is reminiscent of Richard Dreyfuss from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

In a room of more than 100 or so radio personalities, maybe half of whom are hosts, there are some voices that rise above the others. It goes with the territory, certainly. But a big voice contest in this room would be of epic proportions.

We’re going to be bringing you the latest from radio row all day, plus video of our interviews … names like Michael Strahan, Matt Ryan, Conrad Dobler, Phil Simms, Matt Hasselbeck, Jason Whitten, MJD, Drew Brees, Joe Montana, Doug Williams, Chad Pennington are in the mix here today. None are confirmed, but we’ll keep you updated.
