Welcome to the InterContinental Hotel, home base for the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.

The parade of media types that filed off our shuttle bus from the Tampa media center was greeted by a few eager Steelers fans, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite team. They surely were disappointed to see dozens of mostly out-of-shape journalists. It made us feel important, though, as did the police escort on the way over. It’s the little things.

We can hear the Steelers fans cheering outside now, which must mean the team has arrived.
