Capers won’t follow Garrett

If Jason Garrett had landed the St. Louis Rams’ head-coaching job, he was poised to bring former Panthers and Texans head coach Dom Capers with him as his defensive coordinator.

The two men spent the 2006 season together with Miami, where Capers was the special assistant to the head coach and Garrett was the Dolphins’ quarterbacks coach. But Garrett didn’t land the job, and Capers is still on the market. For now.
