Garrett heads back to Dallas after interview in St. Louis

Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has come and gone from St. Louis.

He and his wife left St. Louis a short time ago and flew back to Dallas. A police escort whisked them past the media, out of the city and now, essentially, into a land of questions.

Some still believe Garrett is the leader for the Rams’ job, but others think Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan or Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier are. And some even believe that Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is the Rams’ No. 2 choice behind Ryan.

The one truth is, no one seems to know for sure. But what is known is that Garrett has left St. Louis and now is on his way back to Dallas.
