Former officemates vying for coaching jobs

Two of the hottest coaching candidates out there are Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. But these two can speak about the other with authority.

Back in 1999 and 2000, Spagnuolo and Frazier shared an office at the Vet in Philadelphia before the Eagles moved to their Novacare complex. Down the hall was another Eagles assistant coach, Ron Rivera. Spagnuolo was the Eagles’ defensive quality-control coach, and Frazier was the Eagles’ secondary coach, and together they worked to elevate Philadelphia and themselves.

Now Spagnuolo is in line for the Rams, Chiefs or Jets’ job, and Frazier is in line for the Rams’ job.

Two former officemates. Two hot coaching candidates.
