Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier is one of three finalists for the St. Louis Rams coaching job. Frazier was in Los Angeles on Tuesday to meet with the ownership group. St. Louis Post Dispatch writer Jim Thomas said that the interview went well. From Thomas’ report:
- Frazier’s formal interview lasted a few hours with team owners Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez, senior advisor John Shaw, and general manager Billy Devaney all on hand. It’s believed that Rams director of player personnel Lawrence McCutcheon also was present for the interview.
- According to league sources, the Rams were impressed with Frazier’s interview. He came across as thoughtful and organized. On Tuesday night, Frazier had dinner with Devaney and McCutcheon. Before leaving town Wednesday morning, Frazier had breakfast with Devaney.
