AFC teams must fear for their opponent’s safety

Any aspiring safety needs to watch Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. The two best in the game will be squaring off.
It will be Baltimore’s Ed Reed and Pittsburgh’s Troy Polamalu. They will not be going against each other, but they will be measured against each other.
“It’s about playing a physical football game and causing turnovers,” Reed said.
Nobody does it better than those two. Reed intercepted nine passes this season, Polamalu seven. The safety that produces the most Sunday likely will find himself in Tampa for the Super Bowl.
