Lions will bring in Schwartz for a second round

On the day the Broncos made their head-coaching decision, the Lions amped up their own efforts to hire a new coach.

The Lions arranged to bring Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz to Detroit to meet with team owner William Clay Ford Sr. on Monday. It’s Schwartz’s second interview with the Lions, and he’s the first candidate to be brought back for another chat.
