Law not thrilled with the defensive struggle

Some notes from halftime as both teams have the same number of yards from scrimmage: 143. The Chargers are having a hard time running the ball with just 15 total rushing yards.

And I just talked to Dave Lockett, the head PR guy for the Steelers. He says we shouldn’t be surprised by QB Ben Roethlisberger‘s punting skills — he punted a bit as a freshman in college. Did you notice he punted with his left foot?

(NFL Network player corespondent) Ty Law‘s observation: “The game is what we thought it would be, a defensive battle.” (That’s almost Denny Green-like. And he’s here by the way, doing the radio broadcast)

Ty then asked, “Is this for the blog?”

“Tell them it’s boring, because that’s the truth.”
