Kaeding joins Chargers’ list of injured

The Chargers added an interesting name to their injury report Thursday: Nate Kaeding. The kicker was held out of practice with what’s listed as a groin injury.
Outside of Kaeding, the report had no significant changes from Wednesday — RB LaDainian Tomlinson (groin) and TE Antonio Gates (ankle) didn’t practice for the second straight day. Tomlinson confirmed Wednesday that he has a torn tendon in his groin and listed himself as doubtful for Sunday’s AFC Divisional Playoff Game at Pittsburgh.
The Steelers, meanwhile, might be the healthiest team in the playoffs. The only player listed on Thursday’s report was QB Ben Roethlisberger, who took part in a full practice for the second consecutive day.
