No big news on the injury front Thursday for either the Cardinals or the Panthers. The Cardinals continue to rest WR Anquan Boldin and his ailing hamstring, holding him our for the third straight day. Reserve TE Ben Patrick (knee) was also held out, while DE Travis LaBoy (ankle) remained limited. Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt told azcardinals.com that he was “optimistic” that LaBoy — who has missed the last three games — would be ready by Saturday.
The Panthers upgraded starting RG Geoff Hangartner on Thursday. He was limited in practice after sitting out on Wednesday; Jeremy Bridges is expected to start Saturday. The team reports no other injuries. Three other starting linemen for the Panthers — DTs Maake Kemoeatu and Damione Lewis and OT Jeff Otah — all returned to practice this week and are expected to play.
