Sharper out for Vikings

The Vikings lost FS Darren Sharper to what appears to be a lower right leg injury during Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

Sharper was injured early during the second quarter and had his right ankle tapped by trainers on the sideline. He tried to return at one point but limped off the field and has been replaced by rookie Tyrell Johnson.

The Vikings have yet to confirm the injury or his status to return.
