Titans defensive coordinator Schwartz interviewing

While Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is spending Saturday with the Jets and Broncos, Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz has his own busy day.

Schwartz will meet with Browns and Lions officials in Tennessee as the Titans continue their preparations for next weekends AFC Divisional Playoff Game.

Many believe Schwartz would love to coach in Cleveland, which is regarded in many league circles as a plum job. It has an owner that is willing to spend money, some top young talent, two quarterbacks and one of the game’s better offensive lines, all in an area that treats football like religion.

And if Schwartz were to go to Cleveland or anywhere else, it would make sense that Tennessee then would turn over its defensive coordinator job to Gregg Williams, now with Jacksonville but with the freedom to take another job if one becomes available.
