Jets reach out to Shanahan

Despite reports that the Jets would not speak with former Broncos coach Mike Shanahan, they reached out to his representative Saturday.
Shanahan’s attorney told the Jets that his client would prefer to take a couple of weeks to sit back, unwind and process all the events in the past week. Once that two-week window passes, then it’s possible that Shanahan and the Jets will talk. But the Jets reached out Saturday and were put on hold.
