Vikings hope to avoid local TV blackout

The Minnesota Vikings are up against the clock.
As the franchise prepares to host its first home playoff game since 2000, there’s a very real possibility that it will be blacked out on local television. The Vikings still have 11,000 tickets remaining for Sunday’s NFC Wild-Card Game against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Metrodome, prompting the NFL to grant a 24-hour extension on its deadline for the blackout, until 4:30 p.m. ET on Friday.
Tickets for the game can be purchased here.
