Week 17 could be it for some players, coaches

It’s the end of the regular season, and with that comes uncertainty for some players and coaches — with their current teams or with their future in the league.
Coaches saying goodbye today include Seattle head coach Mike Holmgren and Tampa Bay defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin.
Players that could be playing their final game Sunday, either with their respective team or simply in the NFL, include New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre, Tampa Bay linebacker Derrick Brooks, Washington defensive end Jason Taylor, Cleveland linebacker Willie McGinest, New Orleans running back Deuce McAllister, New York Jets cornerback Ty Law and New England linebacker Junior Seau.
It would not be a surprise if none of these players returned for another season. One or two might. But if this is goodbye for these perennial Pro Bowl players and potential Hall of Fame players, they deserve proper send-off.
