Another veteran player moved up some of the NFL’s all-time career lists in Week 16. Niners WR Isaac Bruce finished with seven receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown, becoming the fifth player in NFL history to reach 1,000 career receptions, and moving up to second all-time in career receiving yards.
On both fronts, Bruce joins exclusive receiving company. He now has 14,936 career yards, moving past Tim Brown (14,934) to trail only Jerry Rice (22,895). The other players to reach 1,000 career receptions are Rice (1,549), Cris Carter (1,101), Marvin Harrison (1,095) and Brown (1,094).
