Denver’s prized rookie left tackle Ryan Clady struggled to walk this week. Yet, when the Broncos try to clinch the AFC West title against the visiting Bills, Clady will be starting at left tackle.
Clady didn’t practice this week due to an ankle injury and Denver listed him as questionable for a key game against the Bills. But the Broncos believe Clady simply is too important to quarterback Jay Cutler’s blind side to have on the bench, even if he is not fully recovered. Denver figured a hobbled Clady is better than a healthy backup.
