Saying ‘goodbye’ to a Dallas legend

Dallas has a game to win first, one that ultimately could decide whether or not the Cowboys make this season’s playoffs.

But after Saturday night’s Texas Stadium finale, the Cowboys are having a party to honor their longtime home.

About 80 former players and coaches with a minimum of five years of service to the team will be in attendance. After Saturday night’s game, there will be a going-away party unlike any the NFL has seen. The Cowboys are throwing a goodbye party for Texas Stadium, parts of which will be seen live on NFL Network.

Many of the franchise greats will be there to say “goodbye” to franchise-great Texas Stadium, which cost a mere $35 million to build.
