Relic hunters: Stay away from Texas Stadium

Cowboys fans looking to swipe a piece of Texas Stadium on Saturday beware, there is extra security employed to keep you empty handed. Try to steal a seat number of a stadium sign, and you are likely to unlock a booby trap similar to that rolling boulder and poison darts reminiscent of the opening of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Maybe that’s a little extreme, but the Cowboys are serious about protecting their property. From the Dallas Morning News:
Nearly everything inside the stadium, from turnstiles to urinals, has already been promised to winning bidders in an online auction that fetched more than $245,000. The auction was part of a seasonlong send-off to the stadium that’s been home to the Cowboys for more than 37 years. Irving officials plan to demolish the stadium and redevelop the site. MORE
No word on if there will be extra officers protecting the star at midfield from Terrell Owens.
