Giants coach Tom Coughlin didn’t have much to say on the injury front on Thursday, but the team listed a number of players as returning to practice after sitting out on Wednesday. The Giants listed WR Domenik Hixon (ankle/foot), WR Sinorice Moss (calf), DT Fred Robbins (shoulder) and RB Derrick Ward (ankle) as taking part in a limited portion of practice. Three other players — RB Brandon Jacobs (knee), OT Kareem McKenzie (back) and DE Justin Tuck (lower leg) — took part in a limited portion of practice for the second straight day.
The Panthers released a thin injury report. Starting DT Maake Kemoeatu (ankle), a key run-stopper for the Panthers, missed practice for the second consecutive day. LB Jon Beason was also held out of practice due to illness. Panthers coach John Fox spoke briefly after practice on Thursday.
