WR Holmes having forgettable day

The Ravens are leading the Steelers 9-3 at the end of the third quarter.

Yet, it was Pittsburgh that showed how a great defense can withstand even a “critical” turnover. Santonio Holmes‘ fumble in the red zone only resulted in a Baltimore field goal. You still get the feeling that the first touchdown is going to win this game.

Holmes is having an awful day. He has two fumbles — one recovered by his own team — and failed to field a punt that ended up inside the 5. The muffed punt seemed like a possible case of a playmaker trying to do too much.

Still, trust me, no one wants to see either of these defenses in the playoffs.
