Losman, Griese get starting calls

As the Week 15 early games get underway, here’s a quick look at some of the notable lineup changes:

  • As expected, QB J.P. Losman got the start for the Bills in place of the injured Trent Edwards.
  • The 49ers deactivated RB Frank Gore, giving RB DeShaun Foster the start against the Dolphins.
  • The Colts started RB Dominic Rhodes against the Lions, electing to hold out Joseph Addai. Safety Bob Sanders is also sitting out, the ninth game he has missed this season. Melvin Bullitt gets the start opposite Antoine Bethea. The Lions deactivated QB Daunte Culpepper due a shoulder injury, inserting Dan Orlovsky.
  • The Bucs went with QB Brian Griese over Jeff Garcia, who was a late scratch due to his calf injury. Griese has not played since injuring his elbow on Oct. 5. Luke McCown could also see time for the Bucs.
