Bad news, Frank Gore will not play at Miami according to NFL Network’s Adam Schefter. Doesn’t he realize that this is the fantasy playoffs? How many fantasy owners would like to channel their inner Jerry Jones and tell Gore to play?
And if you haven’t planned for Gore’s absence, there isn’t much available on most waiver wires. Cadillac Williams or Cedric Benson could be available, depending on how many players you have in your league. But do you want to rest your playoff hopes on those choices? Hopefully, you already have some quality backups — including handcuff DeShaun Foster – ready to roll. Otherwise, enjoy the consolation round.
