Harrison third among all-time receptions leaders

The top of the NFL’s all-time receptions list now reads Jerry Rice, Cris Carter and Marvin Harrison. Harrison moved into third place and past Tim Brown with 1,095 receptions, behind Carter (1,101) and Rice (1,549). Harrison is now just six receptions behind Carter.
In the same game in which Detroit’s Jason Hanson set the NFL record for most career field goals of more than 50 yards and Harrison moved into the top three receivers of all time, the Lions are looking to avoid a more dubious NFL record — becoming the league’s only 0-16 team. The Lions have forced a 21-21 tie with the Colts midway through the fourth quarter. It was in Week 15 last season when the 0-13 Dolphins picked up their first and only win of the season, defeating the Ravens in overtime.
