Addai, Sanders sit out again for Colts

The Colts’ injury report on Thursday included a number of key starters, as RB Joseph Addai (shoulder), LB Gary Brackett (fibula), LB Tyjuan Hagler (knee) and S Bob Sanders (knee) were all held out for the second consecutive day. Starting OT Tony Ugoh, who was not listed on Wednesday, also sat out.
Aside from the obvious, the absence of Addai could be problematic depth-wise for the Colts. With backup RB Chad Simpson not likely to play after suffering an ankle injury last week, the Colts would have been left with Dominic Rhodes as the only active running back on the roster.
Coach Tony Dungy said earlier this week the Colts would add another back if there was a concern that Addai couldn’t play, and the team signed veteran Najeh Davenport on Wednesday.
