Can Holmgren let go of coaching? Tatupu says no

Seattle coach Mike Holmgren insists that at this time next year, he will not be on an NFL sideline, in an owner’s box or in a press box. He said he’s taking a year off, and after that he may return as a general manager or team president. But Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu told Frank Hughes of the Tacoma News Tribune that he thinks his coach will be roaming a sideline again.
- If he decides to, I would be shocked it he stayed retired. I see him coming back in a couple years, a year or so. I think he just needs a break. He has been at it for a while. This game will take a toll on you. I have only been here four years and it has taken a toll on me. I think he will definitely be back and we will definitely miss him. MORE
