Westbrook finds the end zone

Brian Westbrook scored on a 30-yard run to put the Eagles ahead of the Giants 10-0. That’s a huge sigh of relief for fantasy leaguers who stuck with the veteran running back. Before that run, Westbrook had 18 yards on 10 carries.

In Indianapolis, Peyton Manning hits Marvin Harrison on a 5-yard touchdown pass. It was Manning’s first touchdown of the afternoon.

The quarterback news isn’t so good for Minnesota, as Gus Frerotte has been taken off the field on a cart. He leaves with 70 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Tarvaris Jackson will take over under center for the Vikings.

Could this be the week that the Lions win a game?
