Cowboys running back Marion Barber did not make the trip to Pittsburgh on Saturday. While it’s a tough break for the Cowboys, this is probably a relief to fantasy football owners who were fretting about starting Barber.

The Cowboys will start Tashard Choice at running back with newly signed Alonzo Coleman as the No. 2 back. Choice is not really a good fantasy choice, unless you have been completely jammed by Barber’s toe injury. The Cowboys will likely have to move the ball through the air, and owners should feel confident to start quarterback Tony Romo. Remember, Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes against at Pittsburgh earlier this season without much production from his running backs.
