Schottenheimer not waiting for phone to ring

Over and over, Marty Schottenheimer‘s name continues to be linked to any potential head coach opening.

But during a telephone interview on NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football, Schottenheimer said he is not interested in coaching again.

He is too content living his life in North Carolina, doing occasional work for Sirius Satellite Radio, attending some of his son Brian’s games as the offensive coordinator of the Jets, and living the life.

Marty Schottenheimer said “you never say never,” but he clearly has no intentions to return to head coaching at this time, nor has he been contacted by anybody.
