Bills’ QB unknown as they head north of the border

Even with a strained groin that sidelined him for the second half of Sunday’s loss to San Francisco, Buffalo quarterback Trent Edwards‘ intent is to play in Sunday’s game vs. Miami.
Whether he will be able to do that is an entirely different question.
It’s a situation that likely will go all the way up to game day, with the Bills uncertain of which quarterback to start and not likely to make a decision until Sunday.
But if it is Edwards, he clearly will be limited. The groin strain is significant enough that it will require a hefty amount of rehab this week and even then, there are no assurance he will be able to play.
If Edwards sits out, J.P. Losman will step in with plenty to prove. Losman is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after this season and scouts have always been highly impressed with his arm. His performance, however, has been inconsistent.
But Losman’s next start could come Sunday vs. the Dolphins.
