Next is the breakdown of the AFC playoff scenarios heading into Week 14. No teams have clinched a spot in the AFC, while the Bengals and Chiefs are the only teams eliminated.
- Tennessee Titans (11-1)
- The Titans can clinch the AFC South division title with: (1) a win, or (2) a tie, plus a Colts loss or tie, or (3) a Colts loss.
- The Titans can clinch a first-round bye with: (1) a win, plus a Jets loss or tie, or (2) a tie, plus a Colts loss or tie, plus a Jets loss.
- The Titans can clinch a playoff spot with: (1) a tie, or (2) a Patriots loss or tie, plus a Jets loss or tie, or (3) a Patriots loss or tie, plus a Dolphins loss or tie.
- The Broncos can clinch the AFC West division title with: (1) a win, plus a Chargers loss or tie, or (2) a tie, plus a Chargers loss.
- The Steelers can clinch a playoff spot with: (1) a win, plus a Dolphins loss, plus a Patriots loss, or (2) a win, plus a Dolphins tie, plus a Patriots loss, plus a Jets loss.
